NVIDIA’s Nemotron beats top human IOI score

NVIDIA’s 550-billion-parameter Nemotron-3-Ultra-CC scored 535.4 out of 600 at IOI 2026, above the top human score of 498.27, according to the team’s arXiv paper on its competition system. The prospective run used human-equivalent time, internet, and submission constraints, but it was unofficial, excluded from IOI rankings, and has not been independently audited. Teams evaluating coding agents should treat the result as a specialization datapoint—not a general reasoning score—alongside the archive’s benchmark audit on measurement efficiency.
