Accenture builds a 1,000-person Gemini unit

Accenture and Google Cloud will establish a 1,000-person forward-deployed engineering workforce inside a new Gemini Enterprise business group, built on Accenture’s nearly 50,000 Google Cloud-skilled professionals, according to the companies’ partnership announcement. The same release says a YouTube deployment lifted customer sentiment 11% and cut average handle time 37%, but those are company-reported results. For operators, the enterprise AI deployment playbook is a useful comparator: budget for implementation capacity and adoption work, not only model access, when moving Gemini pilots into production.
