China court issues 24-article AI guidance

China’s Supreme People’s Court issued a five-part, 24-article opinion on AI disputes covering deepfakes, voice cloning, algorithmic price discrimination, intellectual property, and autonomous-driving liability, Xinhua reports in its account of the new rules. The opinion says recognizable digital replicas need consent and providers can face liability when they fail to act after notice; teams shipping face, voice, or recommender features in China should preserve consent and takedown logs, not bolt them on after launch, as Claude commerce agents’ checkout boundary illustrates.
