Cymphony raises $30M for agent security
Cymphony has raised $30 million, including a $25 million Series A, to map employees, AI agents, data, and permissions in one workforce graph. TechCrunch’s funding report says the startup found about 85,000 files exposed to AI tools at one U.S. public company, while Cymphony’s workforce-security platform claims a 74% reduction in AI-driven data exposure in the first 30 days. Teams deploying agents should file this beside Claude Code’s hard-deny controls: agent security starts with identity and data permissions, before model behavior.
