AI-assisted filings push public-service queues higher

AI-assisted filing is pushing some public-service queues sharply higher: UK housing-ombudsman complaints rose from 2,600 in 2022 to just over 7,000 in 2025, while US CFPB complaints grew fivefold, according to TechCrunch’s report on “agentic flooding”. The underlying study tracks 84 possible cases across 11 jurisdictions but stops short of proving AI caused each increase. For operators, Forus’s medication-access agents point to the same design problem from another side: build capacity for legitimate demand before treating AI-assisted forms as spam.
