Tempus wins a $9.5M heart-failure AI award

Tempus AI won up to $9.5 million from ARPA-H to build and prospectively validate an autonomous heart-failure care agent, according to Tempus’s ARPA-H award announcement. The ADVOCATE program is a four-year, $62.7 million effort with up to $33.7 million committed in year one; Tempus says its system will monitor clinical and home heart-rate data, then support symptoms, medication, rehabilitation, and scheduling. For builders, this is a clinical-validation bet rather than a deployable diagnosis product, so compare its evidence gate with AMIE’s clinical-evidence test before treating autonomous care as ready.
