Google bundles Cloud skills into agent plugins

Google Cloud launched the google-cloud-developer plugin for AI coding agents across 3 clients—Antigravity CLI, Claude Code, and Codex CLI—bundling official skills, documentation, authentication help, project management, and gcloud guardrails, its announcement says. The plugin follows a vendor-neutral Agent Plugins specification and packages a Developer Knowledge MCP server for current documentation. Builders should treat this as a portable packaging move—not proof of safer automation—and pin permissions and review gates as they adopt the agent-skills catalog pattern.
