Cornelis raises $205M to activate AI networks
Cornelis Networks raised $205 million while launching Active Compute Fabric, an open architecture that puts programmable compute into scale-up and scale-out AI networking, according to coverage of its funding and Qualcomm collaboration. The company says CN6000 is sampling ahead of wider Q4 2026 availability, while Qualcomm is evaluating rack-scale inference with Cornelis. For operators, the case for treating custom silicon as a budget choice now has a networking corollary: plan fabric and accelerator utilization together, not as separate line items.
