Fortaegis raises $50M for secure compute

Fortaegis raised an oversubscribed $50 million Series A to move its silicon-rooted Secure Compute platform into commercial deployment across AI infrastructure and other critical systems. The company’s announcement says it works with more than 25 enterprises and governments, has filed 17 patents, and recorded connection performance more than 200 times faster than conventional approaches in internal and customer tests. AI infrastructure teams should treat hardware-rooted identity as an emerging control-plane option—not a production verdict—alongside Microsoft’s measured small-model security routing.
