Paper2Agent validates 593 scientific tools

Paper2Agent turned 74 of 100 computational-biology papers into executable agents, yielding 599 proposed tools and 593 that passed automated validation, according to Nature’s report on the framework. Its AlphaGenome case took about 45 minutes and $14 on a personal laptop, but the experiment measures reproducible execution—not whether a paper’s scientific conclusion is correct. Builders should pair stateless MCP infrastructure that can scale like ordinary HTTP with human review of generated results.
