Claude speeds 30 biology models 4x

Anthropic says Claude optimized more than 30 open-source biology models in under four weeks, delivering roughly 4x average speedups with minimal precision loss, according to its biomolecular-modeling report. The release also open-sources the code and says a single NVIDIA GPU node can model systems above 10,000 tokens; those are company-reported engineering results, not wet-lab validation. Biology teams should benchmark the kernels against their own precision and GPU costs before treating agent-written optimization as a production shortcut, alongside Isomorphic Labs’ financing bet on AI drug discovery.
