Google expands CC to six-member homes
Google Labs expanded its experimental CC agent to households of up to six members, giving it its own Google account, shared memory, and permissioned access to selected Gmail, Calendar, and Tasks data. The launch post says CC can fill forms and update shared plans, but it remains a U.S. waitlist experiment for adults rather than a generally available API. Builders working on multi-user agents should treat identity and consent boundaries as product surface, not afterthought, alongside Google Home’s $20 MCP gateway.
