Insilico’s 9B model tops aging AI benchmark
Insilico Medicine released LongevityBench, five open models ranging from 0.6B to 9B parameters, and Longevity Claw; its L-Qwen3.5-9B model ranked first among 26 systems across clinical, genetics, epigenetics, transcriptomics, and proteomics tasks. Insilico’s Cell announcement says Longevity Claw nominated 328 genes and found up to 5.6× enrichment against a reference target set, while the Cell paper record is the source to inspect before treating those claims as independent clinical evidence. Scientific-AI builders should read this as a case for domain data and small-model deployment, then require held-out assays before giving a compact model authority over wet-lab or patient decisions, alongside AMIE’s simulated-clinical evidence gate.
