Kimi K3 arrives on Amazon Bedrock

Amazon Bedrock now offers Moonshot AI’s Kimi K3, an open-weight model that Moonshot says reaches 2.8 trillion parameters and a 1-million-token context window. AWS’s launch note says Kimi K3 adds native vision, explicit prompt caching, zero data retention, and a US geographic profile; global cross-Region inference costs about 10% less than geographic routing. For teams already standardizing on Bedrock, this makes long-context model testing a provider configuration change, while the archive’s open-weight adoption analysis remains the warning not to confuse model availability with demand.
