TeRAM emerges with $37M for 3D SRAM
TeRAM emerged from stealth with $37 million in equity financing to develop custom 3D SRAM for frontier AI, targeting initial customer production in 2029. Its announcement says the memory is designed to sit directly on AI compute chips and address inference bandwidth and power constraints; the production target remains a roadmap, not deployed capacity. Infrastructure builders should read it beside the archive’s multisilicon capital-gap analysis: memory remains a separate bottleneck even when accelerator supply improves.
