Clivet packs 5 MW into new AI cooling CDUs

Clivet unveiled an AI data-center cooling portfolio at AI Infra Summit 2026, saying its high-capacity CDU can handle up to 5 MW at a 5 K approach temperature difference (or 3 MW at 3 K) while predictive control holds fluctuations to ±0.5°C. The company’s event release describes equipment specifications, not an independent production benchmark; the approach-temperature assumption matters as much as headline capacity. For builders sizing dense racks, the announcement adds a thermal-procurement checkpoint to the grid and power constraints behind AI data-center expansion: compare CDU capacity, approach temperature, and control tolerance before treating a megawatt claim as deployable headroom.
