CXMT puts 24Gb LPDDR5X into mass production

CXMT says its fifth-generation G5 DRAM platform has entered mass production, with 24Gb LPDDR5X chips already in mainstream Chinese flagship smartphones. China Daily’s report on CXMT’s G5 launch says the chip holds 50% more data than previous-generation equivalents, and the process reaches an 11.95nm memory-array half-pitch while producing at least 50% more gross dies per wafer. For on-device AI builders, this is a supply signal—not proof of HBM relief—so qualify regional memory alternatives alongside the AI server memory squeeze already raising Nvidia system prices.
