Google.org commits $4M to AI educator training
Google.org committed $4 million to Digital Promise to expand free, practical AI-skills training for teachers, school systems, and community-college faculty. Google’s announcement says the grant sits beside its plan to provide training to 6 million U.S. K–12 teachers and higher-education faculty, with Digital Promise publishing an open guide after two years of research. For education operators, this is a distribution and measurement signal—not proof of classroom impact: file it beside the archive’s evidence gap for AI employees and ask whether training changes teacher practice, not only badge counts.
