StarSling raises $3M for model-owned code review
StarSling raised $3 million in pre-seed funding and launched Review Runners, GitHub Actions jobs that run a team’s model, repository skills, scripts, and reviewer rules before a human opens a pull request, according to StarSling’s funding and product announcement. Teams pay StarSling for runner minutes while their existing model provider bills tokens; launch coverage puts a two-vCPU runner at $0.004 per minute (reported pricing). That ownership model extends GitHub’s workflow-cost experiment into review: pilot one repository, retain human merge authority, and measure reviewer precision before scaling.
