Google Vids makes HD AI video free

Google Vids now lets anyone with a Google or Google Workspace account generate 1080p AI video clips at no cost with Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash. Google’s launch announcement adds exact clip-duration controls, scene extension, HD upscaling, and invisible SynthID watermarking; paid plans get expanded generation pools, while 100-plus-language voiceover is coming. Teams testing creative automation can prototype more cheaply, but should still measure whether free drafts survive final-render limits using the archive’s generative-video production baseline.
