mika raises €6M for AI-native accounting

Berlin startup mika raised €6 million in seed funding to build an AI-native accounting and tax platform for Germany’s GmbHs and UGs, according to the funding report. Smedvig Ventures led the round; existing investors Keen Venture Partners and Dutch Founders Fund also increased their stakes, after mika raised €800,000 in pre-seed funding in 2024. For operators, this is another vertical-AI bet on regulated back-office work—not a generic chatbot—and it belongs beside the archive’s cost-evidence test for AI employees.
