Supermicro ships 72-GPU Vera Rubin racks

Supermicro says it is now shipping NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 racks with 72 Rubin GPUs and 36 Vera CPUs operating as one liquid-cooled machine. The company rates each rack at 20.7 TB of HBM4 and its cooling-distribution units at 1.8 MW; a 16-rack Scalable Unit reaches 1,152 GPUs and 331 TB of HBM4. Rubin buyers should treat cooling and site power as one procurement decision, then compare this deployment shape with the Rubin cost-per-megawatt analysis.
