Ando raises $20M for human-agent messaging
Ando launched a team-messaging platform where agents have identities, inboxes, and permissioned participation, alongside $20 million in pre-seed and seed funding from Accel, Index Ventures, and Emergence, TechCrunch reports. The startup says it is working with customers across 15 countries, while its product overview says Ando currently works best for teams of up to 30 humans plus agents. Teams testing agent-native collaboration should start with reversible coordination work and measure notification and review load before attempting a Slack replacement, extending the archive’s task-crossover analysis.
