AWS report finds AI governance is new bottleneck
AWS’s new Reimagine report is based on interviews with 154 leaders—including 128 executives deploying AI across 27 countries and 23 industries—and says nearly half of interviews describing efficiency gains had no evidence of linked business impact. The report says one AWS rebuild moved from a 30-engineer, one-year estimate to five engineers in 70 days, while security, deployment, and UI review remained bottlenecks. Operators should fund governance and outcome ownership alongside model access, extending the archive’s evidence-first agent evaluation playbook.
