Descartes launches a trade-data agent
Descartes launched the Datamyne AI Agent across 230 markets, using more than 500 million shipment records added annually and claiming up to 90% less trade-data research time, depending on query complexity and user experience, according to the company’s announcement. The agent returns natural-language answers with visualizations and links back to shipment records, giving operators a verification path instead of a bare summary. Treat the 90% as a vendor ceiling to test against accepted decisions and record-level checks, extending the archive’s data-acceptance contract rather than counting faster queries as finished work.
