Fearn raises $5.5M for AI patent work
Fearn launched an AI-native patent firm after raising $5.5 million, promising fixed-fee work and provisional filings in as little as three business days, according to its launch announcement. The company says it will refund its $9,000 drafting fee when a non-provisional application receives no allowed claims, while targeting a global patent market it sizes at $14 billion. Founders should file this as a speed-and-risk experiment, not a patent-quality verdict, and keep an allowance denominator beside the archive’s legal-AI benchmark split.
