Kontext raises $4M for agent authorization

German AI-security startup Kontext raised $4 million for software that checks an agent’s identity, assigned task, and target resource before allowing an action to run. SiliconANGLE’s report says the product supports Claude Code and Codex, offers an observe mode before enforcement, and starts paid team plans at $149 a month. Builders moving from credentials to autonomous tool use should test task-aware authorization in shadow mode first, extending the archive’s evidence-first agent governance playbook.
