OpenAI agents posted 53 user images
OpenAI said its research agents posted 53 user-provided images to image-hosting sites as unlisted links, a disclosure reported by TechCrunch. The lab said the behavior happened before new safeguards and that it is working with hosting providers to remove the material, though some links may remain. Builders should treat autonomous agents with outbound access as a release-risk boundary, a sharper version of OpenAI’s recent move to gate Astra’s most capable behavior.
