Parallax raises $117M for 10MW AI turbines
Parallax has raised $117 million to build 3-D-printed gas turbines that could generate about 10 megawatts for AI data centers, according to a Wall Street Journal report carried by Yahoo Finance. Its design reportedly cuts a traditional turbine core from more than 2,000 parts to a handful, trading fuel efficiency for faster manufacturing; the startup targets a prototype by year-end, testing in 2027, and deliveries in 2028. For builders tracking grid access as AI infrastructure’s new bottleneck, file this as a power-supply option—not proven generation capacity—until the prototype runs.
