Overlord Labs closes $10M battery-intelligence round

Overlord Labs closed a $4.35 million seed extension, bringing total funding to $10 million for its GENESIS battery-intelligence IC aimed at smart glasses, wearables, and other edge-AI devices. The company’s financing announcement says its silicon is operating, customer sampling is next, and volume production is targeted for the first half of 2027. Teams evaluating camera-free AI glasses and their battery claims should file away the hardware constraint: an edge agent is not production-ready until its battery silicon clears validation and qualification.
