F2 takes $5M strategic AI investment

F2 took a $5 million strategic investment from Golub Capital, whose private-credit platform manages more than $90 billion, to deploy AI across credit-investment workflows. Golub Capital’s announcement says F2 will use proprietary data and institutional knowledge in an LLM-agnostic, auditable system while establishing a Global Credit AI Council; F2 had reported $24 million in total equity funding in June. For finance-AI builders, the signal is a buyer demanding model flexibility and data control—the same unit-economics discipline in AI routing now applies to underwriting agents.
