GitHub AI agent finds 24 Android flaws
GitHub Security Lab says its open-source Taskflow Agent has found and reported 24 vulnerabilities in Android applications. In its case study of the 24 Android findings, GitHub describes disclosed flaws in OsmAnd and Wikipedia while noting that human researchers still validate the agent’s output. Maintainers should file this as a scale signal, not an autopilot license: recurring taskflows can widen mobile-security coverage, but review remains the bottleneck; the archive’s analysis of AI’s cybersecurity step change tracks why that distinction matters.
