Samsung puts $1B into Helix AI infrastructure
Samsung Electronics and five affiliates will invest a combined $1 billion in Helix Digital Infrastructure, a KKR-backed platform for data centers, power, transmission, and fiber. Samsung’s Korea Times report says Samsung Electronics contributes $500 million and the other affiliates supply the balance, alongside KKR, KIA, NVIDIA, and Vistra. For infrastructure buyers, this is a capital-stack signal: AI capacity is being assembled across chips, cooling, energy, and networks, the same delivery-versus-financing boundary tracked in the archive’s Nscale funding analysis.
