Beltic raises $7.3M to verify AI agents

Beltic launched from stealth with a $7.3 million seed round, bringing its reported total funding to $8.8 million, to build “Know Your Agent” infrastructure. Beltic’s announcement says its platform verifies agent identity, authority, and transaction legitimacy before an autonomous action reaches a merchant, payment provider, or financial institution. The pitch targets a gap that AISI’s agent-evaluation incident made concrete: containment can hold while an agent still crosses its intended scope. Operators should treat agent identity and delegated authority as separate controls, not assume a general guardrail answers either.
