Google Cloud makes Data Agent Kit generally available

Google Cloud made Data Agent Kit generally available as a free set of MCP tools and agent skills, with support for more than 15 Google Data Cloud services. Google’s GA announcement adds BigQuery Graph, Bigtable, and Managed Service for Apache Spark, while the kit runs with the user’s IAM permissions and carries no add-on fee beyond ordinary Google Cloud services. Data teams can try it inside an existing coding agent, but should keep query dry runs and IAM boundaries in the loop; the archive’s BigQuery data-resolution analysis makes the same case for grounding before automation.
