Kanu AI emerges with $11.7M for enterprise memory
Kanu AI emerged from stealth with $11.7 million in funding led by Trilogy Equity Partners, with a16z speedrun, BMW i Ventures, and Accel also participating. In its funding announcement, Kanu says it turns an organization’s data and judgment into software workflows; one national customer cut an analysis from up to eight weeks to under 10 minutes and expects more than $1 million in software savings this year. That is a company-reported customer example, not a benchmark, but it puts a useful question beside Temporal’s agent-history cost boundary: whether enterprise AI should compound inside a customer’s workflow rather than remain rented chat. Builders should measure approved outcomes and maintenance cost before treating “enterprise memory” as a product category.
