Miter raises $40M for AI construction software
Miter raised a $40 million Series B led by Battery Ventures, bringing total capital to $78 million as its AI-powered workforce platform reaches more than 2,000 contractors. Miter says it parses invoices and pay tables, automates back-office workflows, and turns jobsite photos or voice notes into safety reports; roughly two of every 100 U.S. construction workers now get paid through the platform. For vertical-AI builders, the archive’s AI-employees cost study is the right companion: adoption count is not labor ROI, so measure completed jobs, payroll accuracy, and accepted interventions before adding model spend.
