Restate raises $20M for durable agent infrastructure

Restate raised $20 million in Series A funding led by Singular, with Redpoint Ventures and Capital One Ventures participating, bringing total disclosed funding to $27 million. In its Series A announcement, the company says it will use the money to make durable execution a broader backend primitive; TechCrunch reports that Restate has recently closed multiple six- and seven-figure customer contracts. Teams designing long-running agent jobs should file the financing beside the archive’s cloud-sandbox cost boundary: recovery and state semantics can matter as much as model price once work outlives a single request.
