Instinct's $1B funnel gets a taste layer
Instinct launched Instinct Selections, a human-curated recommendation feature for dining, travel and shopping, while founder Noah Shinn said the agent is approaching $1 billion in annual transactions and that travel accounts for more than half, TechCrunch reports. The company has not disclosed whether the recommendations make money, so builders should treat transaction volume as a demand signal—not revenue—and make consent and provenance explicit before turning a trusted assistant into an affiliate surface; the archive’s earlier Instinct permission analysis shows why the trust boundary is part of the product.
