TakeMe2Space puts 117 TOPS in orbit
TakeMe2Space’s MOI-1A is scheduled to fly on SpaceX’s Transporter-18 rideshare with a 117-TOPS NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX computer, a nine-band imager, and up to 2 TB of onboard storage. The company’s hardware page says the 14-kilogram satellite will process Earth-observation data in orbit and downlink insights instead of raw files; India Today reports that TakeMe2Space has 23 customers across agriculture, mining, supply chains, and insurance, after an earlier demonstrator failed to trigger its AI hardware. Space-data operators should file this as a commercial test of edge inference—not a data-center replacement—and wait for commissioning evidence before underwriting orbital compute; the archive’s space-AI analysis separates demos from proven operating services.
