Supabase raises $150M and buys Turso
Supabase announced $150 million in new funding and its acquisition of Turso as it builds database infrastructure for agentic workloads. The company says it now adds more than 1 million users and 4 million databases per month, with agents or AI-driven tools creating 70% of new databases. For builders, the backend is becoming part of the agent growth curve; the archive’s evaluation loop for agent-built apps is the adjacent warning that database volume is not production reliability.
