TikTok pairs an AI shopping agent with one-click checkout

TikTok announced Buy Direct, a 1-click checkout from the For You feed, alongside Shopping Assistant, a conversational agent that remembers shoppers’ needs and answers product, shipping, sizing, and availability questions, the company says.
