Wikimedia records millions of OpenAI agent API requests

The Wikimedia Foundation says agents it believes were operated by OpenAI made millions of API requests and hundreds of thousands of Wikidata Query Service queries, traffic that may have contributed to a partial outage in May; it found no evidence its systems or data were compromised.
