Anthropic expands cyber access to three tiers

Anthropic expanded its Cyber Verification Program to three access tiers and says Project Glasswing partners found at least 129,000 verified software vulnerabilities from April through July. More than 33,000 were rated critical or high, and Anthropic counted 5,500 additional vulnerabilities in its own open-source scans; the program update calls these results lower bounds based on partial reports from 33 partners and patch disclosures from fewer than half. Defense Access, Red Team Access, and Specialized Access pair broader model access with different review and safeguard requirements, extending the original case for gated frontier cyber models. For security operators, the tally shows discovery capacity scaling, but it still says little about remediation throughput or exploit impact.
