Google and Constellation add 890 MW of nuclear power
Google and Constellation signed a 20-year power purchase agreement for 890 MW of new nuclear capacity in PJM, with the first uprated capacity expected in 2028, alongside a separate 15-year contract for 2.7 GW of existing generation. Constellation says the package supports nuclear uprates and expands Google’s power supply. For AI infrastructure buyers, this is a long-dated regional supply commitment; it does not make that capacity available to a new data center today, as Google’s Finland nuclear agreement also illustrates.
