Vesta raises $30M for mortgage agents
Vesta announced a $30 million Series B led by Conversion Capital on October 8, bringing total funding to $85 million. The mortgage-software company says agents and automated workflows now handle about 40% of tasks completed on its platform, a combined category that does not isolate AI-agent performance. Strategic participants include Pennymac, New American Funding and Citi Ventures. For lenders, measuring accepted work rather than potential reach remains the useful test: compare loan-production cost and audit outcomes before interpreting task share as proof of reliable automation.
