SiliconFlow adds RMB 900M for inference infrastructure
SiliconFlow completed the second tranche of its B+ round and a Series C, adding roughly RMB 800 million to RMB 900 million and taking its 2026 equity financing to nearly RMB 2.9 billion, according to Caixin’s financing report and IT Home’s account. The Chinese inference provider says it will put the money into inference-engine R&D, heterogeneous-compute scheduling, model-chip adaptation, token-supply infrastructure and overseas expansion. Builders should file this as capital moving toward model-to-chip plumbing — the same token-routing layer priced in Stripe’s OpenRouter deal — while waiting for published capacity, latency or price data before treating the round as evidence of cheaper inference.
