Oshen raises $5M for autonomous ocean robots
Oshen has raised $5 million to expand production of its C-Star autonomous ocean robots, according to the funding report and the company’s C-Star description. Lunar Ventures says the wind- and solar-powered surface robots have 100 additional units on order, while production has accelerated from 15 boats in the first three years to 15 every six weeks; C-Star can stay at sea for more than six months. For ocean-monitoring operators, the signal is not another humanoid demo but a data-collection fleet entering repeatable production, extending the archive’s physical-AI funding analysis.
